Fifth Redesign. Moving to Belgrade. This Time We're Almost Sure.
An honest story about how many redesigns it takes for a studio to know who it is, what moving to Belgrade means, and what stays exactly the same.
Each redesign was right at the time
We did not fail five times. We were right five times, just for different versions of ourselves. A company that never changes is either not growing or not being honest. We grew. Each new website proved we had learned something the previous version had not - about what we build, for whom, and why we bother at all. The fifth redesign is not a sign of uncertainty. It is a sign we keep asking questions.
Belgrade was not the plan. It became the logical step.
We did not sit down one morning and decide: Belgrade. Belgrade happened because that is where our conversations keep starting. Where the companies building the kinds of things we build are located. Where there is room for ACS to become more than a small but good studio. Bosnia stays - not metaphorically, actually. Clients are there, the network is there, the work is there. We just opened another door.
Why ACS and not Alpha Code Studio
Alpha Code Studio is the full name and it stays that way. ACS is what we actually type to each other in a message at 11pm when something is broken. Short, recognizable, ours. A name you know without thinking. The rebrand is not a marketing move - it is a studio that is finally confident in who it is.
What has not changed
Same team. Same philosophy: understand the problem first, then open the editor or fly the drone. Same standard: not done until it works the way it should, not just the way it looks. And the same reason we are here - we genuinely like it when digital things actually work for the people using them.
